Brescia at a Glance
Brescia University College is Canada's women's university. Established in 1919 by the Ursuline Sisters, Brescia is affiliated with The University of Western Ontario. As a Catholic college on Western's campus, students from all nationalities, faiths and perspectives can benefit from Brescia's offerings.
Small class sizes and strong faculty engagement are key attributes of the Brescia experience. Building relationships that last a lifetime is also something that alumnae treasure.
Academic offerings at Brescia covers a range of programs within the Arts and Social Sciences, Foods and Nutrition, Family Studies, Health Sciences and Management and Organizational Studies. While classes are open to all Western students, only women may register as a Brescia student. This means that for Brescia women, there are many opportunities to take a leadership role and develop important skills that develop confidence and future ability.
