Meeting the conditions of probation but not the conditions for progression

What happens if a student meets the conditions of probation (average of 60% in courses taken with no failures) but a cumulative average which does not meet the minimum average for progression?

Policy:
For the academic year 2012-2013 a student who meets the conditions of Level I probation will have one additional year to raise her cumulative average to 60% or higher. During this period she will continue to be considered to be on probation and the above polices, as well as the guidelines in the Calendar, will be in effect. This exception, and any others, will require a Dean’s Waiver of Progression Requirements.
