MScFN Graduation Ceremony
MScFN graduates are invited to participate in three graduation ceremonies. Brescia hosts a baccalaureate and magisterial ceremony on the Sunday in June before the Monday Western Convocation (dates change every year-please check Western’s convocation website for more information). All graduating students in the MScFN program will be asked to nominate a valedictorian who will address the graduates at this ceremony. This ceremony is held at St. Peter's Basilica in downtown London. Please watch your emails for information to be sent to you by the Alumni office at Brescia.
The Monday morning of the Western Convocation, the MScFN program hosts a small ceremony for the MScFN graduates and their families. During this time the elected MScFN valedictorian says a few words about the MScFN experience. Our Principal and Academic Dean will also provide congratulatory messages. The graduates enjoy their video slideshow of photos and memories during their time at Brescia. We also provide a small reception to celebrate their accomplishments.
Following the MScFN ceremony, Brescia hosts a luncheon and then the MScFN students participate in the processional of all Brescia graduates which proceeds to Alumni Hall for the Western Convocation in the afternoon. Families and friends of the graduates line Brescia lane to photograph the processional and cheer on their graduates!
