Student Human Ecology Association (SHEA)
SHEA includes students from all Human Ecology programs. SHEA is affiliated with ACHES (Association of Canadian Home Economics Students) and participates in their annual conference.

SHEA sponsors a number of activities, within the following areas:
- career events
- community involvement/volunteer programs
- nutrition education
The volunteer program gives students opportunities to work with professionals in education, industry, health and community services.
Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP)
CAFP, founded in 1994, is a student branch of the national CAFP, a non-profit organization whose membership consists of personnel at the management level of all aspects of food service. Members of CAFP participate in the special Career Nights, volunteer programs, educational events of the London branch and the annual meeting of the national association, and volunteer activities in the food industry.

Peer Mentor Program
As the best advice sometimes comes from one's peers, a Mentor Program matches incoming students with upper class students early in the school year.
