This will be an exciting and unique experience loaded with opportunities to get connected in the field and to be successful in your studies. Events this year include:
- Stratford Food Festival Trip
- Trip to St. Lawrence Market in Toronto
- Peller Estates Winery visit in Niagara
- Guest speaker: Rob Freeman – Senior Manager, Quality Control System, McDonald's Restaurants of Canada
- Interactive Cooking Demonstrations
Service and Leadership
Living Learning Community
This particular experience is full of opportunities to become connected with people in the community and develop your own leadership philosophy. This will provide a wonderful opportunity to learn more about yourself and get involved.
Activities this year have included:
- MBTI Assessment
- TKI Inventory
- Trick or Eat
- High Ropes Course Adventure
The programming on these floors is above and beyond what other floors would be able to access. There is a fee to live in an LLC of $175, which is due upon acceptance to the community.
Other Communities
Crossing Borders
This community is for anyone who loves travel, exploring other cultures, languages and traditions. Brescia is fortunate to have a diverse population from many cultures and religions. In the Crossing Borders community students are immersed in this multicultural milieu. You might even learn something about yourself along the way!
Upper-Year Students Floor
Exclusive to upper-year students, this community supports students who are beyond the first-year experience. Students are afforded the freedom to be responsible, independent, and mature, while still having the support of residence staff and resources.
