Conferences and Workshops

Through conferences and workshops, Brescia reaches out to students and the community to further leadership skills and to promote the values of higher education. Brescia encourages participants at conferences to recognize their own leadership potential and to develop their abilities to coach, mentor, and inspire others based on effective leadership practices. The Institute for Women in Leadership (iWIL) at Brescia is a major catalyst for leadership within the community and is often at the forefront of conference development on campus.

Community Events

Brescia believes in community and in bringing people together. This busy little university hosts many flagship events throughout the year, including the Sophia Series of public lectures, the Take the Lead public speaking contest, Breakfast for Bursaries, More than Just a Book Sale, the Ritual of Remembering, plus a host of other public events and lectures.
