We know there has to be a better way to lead.

Brescia University College's Institute for Women in Leadership initiative was launched in October 2007 at a Sophia Series lecture by Maude Barlow. The iWIL Community Circle began meeting in the Fall 2007 with the intention of developing a vision statement and exploring ways to reach out to the women of the larger London community.

We share a desire to change the nature of leadership in the London area by providing a unique forum for women to gather in community for a deeper exploration of what it means to be a woman and a leader. We desire to inspire each woman to develop and express her own life-affirming leadership capacities and to witness and foster those qualities in others.
