Featuring Colleen Sharen , Assistant Professor, Management and Organizational Studies, Brescia University College
137 million Google hits can’t be wrong. Search “leadership and confidence” and that’s how many results you’ll get. Modern leaders need to be uber-confident to lead, right? Maybe that’s not the whole story. Emerging research in leadership suggests that humility may be an important trait of effective leaders. So what is humility? Why is humility important in leaders? How do we know if we are humble? How do we develop humility? Come to the iWIL Talks to learn more about this over-looked and under-valued aspect of leadership.

The Girls LEAD London summer camp program consists of five sessions for girls entering Grades Three and Four (Junior), or Grades Five and Six (Intermediate), or Grades Seven and Eight (Senior). Each of these three streams has a slightly different leadership and development focus.
Girls in Barbados can choose to LEAD at camp this summer! Students will be selected by scores on their 11-plus/Common Entrance Exam, facilitated by the Ministry of Education. Students who are chosen will be sent an invitation letter by the Ministry mid-June. If you do well on your exam, you might be one of the 20 girls chosen to
develop your potential at a two-week camp.
