Get Political

Get Political is a series of Volunteer opportunities co-facilitated with The Circle Women's Centre and the Community Outreach Coordinator. Each opportunity is connected to social justice and political involvement in the London community. Each series has three parts:

• Learning
• Service
• De-brief/Reflection

You can select to go to one or all three of each series. Please note you must attend all three parts of a series for it to be recognized as a co-curricular transcript ‘Experience Works’.

Get Political is a great way for students to get involved, introduce themselves to the world of politics, and become more informed because Get Political is a series based program it is ideal for today’s busy student.

• Take Back the Night
• International Person’s Day
• National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (December the 6th 2007)
• International Women’s Day: “to commemorate the historic struggle to improve women’s lives”
