At Brescia University College, leadership research and education continues to grow and flourish through academic and personal development programs. The Leadership Certificate allows students the ability to study various styles of leadership and how they can become an engaged leader.

Brescia's faculty understands the importance of strong leadership. As scholars and researchers, our faculty is drawn to questions relating to leadership in general, and women’s leadership in particular.  Interdisciplinary research in these areas is encouraged. Working with Brescia’s faculty, iWIL will help with the development of academic courses specific to women in leadership. These may include women in politics, women as entrepreneurs and a socio-historical overview course focusing on women in leadership in different historical and cultural contexts. The aim of these courses is to encourage women students to realize their potential as future leaders.

One of the long-term goals of iWIL is establishing an endowed Chair in Women’s Leadership who would be responsible for developing multi-disciplinary courses around women's leadership and creating a future curriculum related to a Master's Degree in Women and Global Leadership.
