Brescia University College, Canada’s only women’s university located in London Ontario, regularly seeks applications from qualified individuals to join its Board of Trustees. As a women’s university, founded in 1919, rooted in the Catholic faith, Brescia welcomes strategic, experienced and engaged community members, who have a demonstrated interest in advancing women’s higher education.
Ideally, Board of Trustee members should have governance experience. Members should expect to attend six board meetings per year while devoting additional time to university business through the membership of one or more committees of the Board and one or two Board planning sessions. Teleconference attendance is possible for some, but not all meeting requirements.
Those Interested in these volunteer positions may submit a cover letter and resume to Lucyanne Davison at firstname.lastname@example.org. Applicants should indicate why they would like to serve on Brescia’s Board and why they believe they are qualified based on the Board requirements listed above.
