100 Years of Rich History

Founded in 1919 by the Ursuline Sisters of Chatham, Ontario, Brescia has been educating women leaders for over 100 years with wisdom, justice and compassion. The Ursulines are strong women of faith committed to social justice, community service and the development of women. Their vision, mission and values continue to guide Brescia’s path and shape the next century of education at Canada’s women’s university.
