Mature

You’ve chosen to take your life in a new direction and Brescia is here to support you! As a mature student applicant, you must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • You have not been enrolled full-time in an educational institution within the last four years
  • Achieved at least a 60% in any academic work completed within the last four years
  • Not have an academic basis of admission
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident at the time of application

To help you adjust to your new university lifestyle and balance your other responsibilities, Brescia offers part-time studies to mature applicants for their first year of studies; however, if you’re up to the challenge and academically successful in your first-year, you can apply as a full-time student in your following year.

If you’re ready to take on a full-time university schedule in your first-year, we ask that you submit a profile to the Admissions Office indicating why full-time enrollment is requested, including your plan to ensure success. Please contact Admissions for additional information.

Admission to Brescia may be granted to mature students based on:

  • Transcripts of any academic work completed
  • Resume outlining activities and a personal statement/profile of consideration for admission

After applying to Brescia University College through the Ontario Universities Application Centre, please send documentation to:
