Brescia’s dining hall, commonly known as the Mercato (or market in Italian), is centrally located on campus in Clare Hall. From Mexican to Italian, vegan to gluten free, our chefs are prepared to regularly offer you new and creative meals.

At Brescia, we provide you with locally sourced ingredients, healthy meal options and a diverse selection of offerings catering to every taste. Our Executive Chef, Tim D’Souza, is heating things up in the kitchen with new and innovative dishes throughout the academic year. Between a fresh salad bar updated daily, wood stone pizza oven, rotisserie and grill--plus a wide range of cuisines from around the world, you will discover hundreds of delicious meals we know you’ll love!

At Brescia, we are proud to brew Starbucks Coffee. In addition to Starbucks traditional beverage favourites, our Food Services team is also encouraged to put their creative minds to the test and create new specialty drinks – just for you to try. Visit Starbucks beside the Bottega at the kiosk in Clare Hall.

Dietary Accommodations and Requests

Brescia’s Food Services team is committed to supporting an inclusive and safe campus community by providing a wide variety of nutritious allergy-free items. Understanding the importance of a diverse range of dietary requirements is important at Brescia. We encourage members of the Brescia community with severe allergies or who have specific dietary requests to contact Tim D’Souza, Manager of Food Services . Brescia is proud to offer many modified meal options and will work with members of our community to understand how we can best support you.
