Senior Citizen Bursary Application
This bursary is available to senior citizens (60 years of age or older) registered
at Brescia University College at the undergraduate level who require financial assistance
to continue post-secondary studies.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be 60 years of age or older within the first month their study term
commences.
- Applicants must present proof of age when applying for the first time.
- Applicant must be registered in Senate-approved courses and program at Brescia University
College at the undergraduate level.
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens.
- The value of the bursary shall cover the cost of TUITION ONLY of up to three full
courses (excluding online courses) for the September-August study period. This can include
a combination of full or half courses, but must not exceed a total registration of
3.0.
- Applicants must be registered as part-time students for credit or audit.
- Applicants must initially satisfy Brescia’s entrance requirements for their chosen
program or course(s).
- Applications must be submitted prior to the start of classes for the session in which
the bursary is required.
- This bursary may not be held with other Brescia scholarships, awards, or bursaries,
as well as OSAP funding or any other external source that is intended to support the
student’s tuition fees.
