How to Apply

Interested in applying to the Preliminary Year Program?

Please note that Brescia University College and Western University have begun a process that will see Brescia fully integrate with Western as of May 2024, at which point it will wind down operations as an affiliated university college, and Western University will take on the Preliminary Year program.

If you are interested in the Preliminary Year program, you will apply to Western University through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) for September 2024. Your program will be completed in its entirety at Western. Brescia is no longer accepting applications.

Offers of Admission

All Preliminary Year students will be notified by email of their acceptance to the Preliminary Year Program. Your ‘Offer of Admission’ letter will contain the information needed by the authorities in your country for processing of your visa.

Review student VISA requirements through the Government of Canada Citizenship and Immigration site. Processing times do vary by region; check with your local embassy and submit your application to Brescia early. In most cases to start your VISA application you need an offer of admission first.

As of June 1, 2014 there are new Canadian Immigration regulations for students applying for a study VISA. For more information please see the Government of Canada's website. Brescia’s Designated Learning Institution Number is: O19331472822 (please note, this begins with the letter “O”, not zero). Students will need this information to apply for their study VISA.
