Principal Emeriti

Establishing, developing and advancing the work of Canada’s only women’s university is a bold endeavor and would not have been possible without the remarkable leadership of Brescia’s dedicated Principals. In 1920, Mother St. Anne Lachance charted a strong course for Brescia, becoming the University’s first Principal (then known as Dean). Since then, eleven distinguished women have held the role of Principal and have made a lasting mark on the University’s campus and community.
