Being a resident at Brescia’s Clare Hall felt like home. I was able to spend multiple years with my friend’s next door, eat amazing food, getting involved and growing as a person. I will never forget living there!

Living in Clare Hall offered excellent accommodation and a supportive community, which allowed me to focus on my academics. I loved the convenience of a two-minute walk to class and the delicious meals made-to-order in the Mercato.

Living in residence during my first year at Brescia was a wonderful experience. The space itself is beautiful and comfortable, but the people and the community is what made my residence experience memorable. One of my favourite memories was getting together almost every day for dinner with my friends after a long day of classes to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

Living in residence was an amazing experience! It was my first time living away from home and it was very overwhelming at first; however, the wonderful, supportive residence staff made the transition so much easier. I was welcomed in with open arms and felt that I belonged instantly. This feeling of family lasted the entire school year.

Frequent floor and residence-wide events were planned to keep everyone busy while enhancing the student experience at Clare Hall. The best part of living in residence was definitely the friendships that I made which, will last a lifetime.

My experience in residence was amazing. The residence staff were welcoming and ensured residence feel like a home away from home. As an international student, it is a difficult transition to move so far away, and Clare Hall was somewhere I was able to call home. Clare Hall is safe and secure, the staff are amazing, and the Residence Assistants are supportive while fostering a caring environment. I was fortunate to be involved with Residence Council where I was able to experience all the great initiatives residence has in place to ensure the safety of students. It was an amazing experience, I would not have wanted to spend my first year anywhere else!

Brescia offers a unique community atmosphere unlike most other residences. Having lived in three residences between two different universities, I truly believe that Brescia’s residence environment is one-of-a kind. Additionally, the opportunity to participate in the residence programming made my time at Brescia more incredible than I ever could have dreamed of. Growing up I was told “you get out what you put in,” and Clare Hall at Brescia certainly allowed me to do that.
