Brescia offers a guide for faculty and staff on identifying and responding to students in difficulty, whether academic, financial, housing, behavioural, emotional, physical, and/or related to safety.

The guide outlines potential signs of difficulty; direct or indirect behaviours or emotions that a student may demonstrate when experiencing difficulty, particularly if those difficulties begin to interfere with their ability to function on a day-to-day basis at Brescia.

The guide also provides tools to use when reaching out to a student and responding with respect.
