When you choose to study Accounting, you will learn to effectively capture, process and interpret financial information and organize it in a way that is productive to decision makers. Gain communications skills needed to defend finance recommendations or understand how taxes affect personal and business decisions – in the Accounting program, you decide! Under the guidance of your accomplished professors, you will learn problem solving, leadership and communication skills through a variety of dynamic courses, including: Management Accounting, Business Communications and Advanced Accounting.

Your Accounting experience will reach far beyond campus. Outside the classroom, your professors will encourage and guide you to begin your professional development as a future Accountant! You will have the opportunity to participate in: the Community Income Tax Volunteer Programs, Chartered Professional Accountant Post-Secondary Ambassador Programs and internship programs. These experiences will give you access to networking, conferences and mentorship opportunities within the community and support your journey beyond your post-secondary experience.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements for Ontario high school students:

  • ENG4U
  • Two of the following: MHF4U, MCV4U, or MDM4U
  • Recommended for Food Management & Marketing:
    SCH4U or SCH3U
