Mentor Application

The Professional Mentoring Program, hosted by the Student Life Centre at Brescia University College, is a a voluntary, one-to-one mentoring program, designed to bring professionals together with senior Brescia students for the purpose of professional growth. Mentors will share their knowledge of the "real world" with students and provide insight on preparing for and navigating through the world post-graduation. This opportunity will allow our students to build career networks and grow as professionals and leaders.

The program runs from September to April and is structured around monthly mentor and mentee meetings, and includes groups events for all mentors and mentees in October, January and late March.

Any leader in our London community or any Brescia alumnae who would like to mentor a Brescia student and is able to commit 4 to 6 hours per month from September to April is encouraged to apply to the Professional Mentoring Program.

The program will be hosting three group gatherings with all Mentors and Mentees with a blended delivery approach that includes both in-person and virtual events. These events are hosted in the evening from 6-8 p.m. (EST) on dates that will be decided in September based on the availability of the Mentees and Mentors.

Is there any additional information you would like to share to help us match you with a Mentee?

Unfortunately, not all applicants will be matched with a Mentee for the 2023-2024 academic year. Those individuals who are matched with a Mentee are invited to attend the Professional Mentoring Program Mentor Info Session on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 from 7pm-8:30 p.m. (EST). This session includes a program overview, an introduction to the mentee-mentor activities, and an opportunity for Q+A.
